Michel Faye vs Vermont Mambety

Boxing Daily Report from the Danquah Promotions promoted show at Dakar Seck, Dakar,  taking place on 15/07/2041:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Senegal Light Heavyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on RTS, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Michel Faye (26(5) - 6(1)) who hails from Touba, Senegal and Vermont Mambety(5 - 8 - 2) from Pikine, Senegal.  Faye weighed in at 175 pounds, while Mambety weighed in at 174 pounds And 10 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Reinald Mbow, and the three ringside judges are Leggett Kasse, Garner Leye and Montrell Noury.  

Round 1: 

Faye lands a right uppercut to the body followed by a left hook to the head.
