Set Yayikian vs Manug Igityan

Boxing Daily Report from the Exhibition Boxing promoted show at Yerevan Chaparyan, Yerevan,  taking place on 14/07/2041:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the Armenia Middleweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Armenia TV, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Set Yayikian (14 - 6(1)) who hails from Yerevan, Armenia and Manug Igityan(43(35) - 11(9)) from Yerevan, Armenia.  Both Yayikian and Igityan weighed in at 160 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Mikayel Galoyan, and the three ringside judges are Sebuh Yaralyan, Arayig Baboghlyan and Lampron Damadian.  

Round 1: 

Igityan is on target with a jab.  
Igityan lands with a hard jab.  Igityan tries to land a left hook, but Yayikian blocks the shot and counters with a firm right uppercut.  
Igityan sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Igityan attempts to land a right hook, but Yayikian dodges the shot and counters with a left uppercut to his opponents body.  
Igityan lands with a spiteful jab.  
Igityan quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands a jab followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  
Yayikian steps inside.  Igityan throws a left hook, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a left hook.  
Igityan feints a jab, and then lands a right hook to the body followed by a left hook to the head.  
Igityan feints a cross, and then lands a right hook followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Yayikian lands a right uppercut followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Yayikian advances into close range.  Igityan pivots to the right of his opponent.  Yayikian lands a left hook.  
Yayikian attempts to land a cross, but Igityan slips the shot and counters with a sharp right uppercut.  
Yayikian lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head.  
Igityan lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Igityan is looking to keep the action on the outside and lands a ramrod jab.

Igityan DETONATES a big right hook on his opponents face.  YAYIKIAN WAS STUNNED BY THAT SHOT!  Yayikian almost instantly gets his legs back.

Igityan lands a left hook to the body, a left hook to the head and a right hook to the body.  
Yayikian pivots from in front of his opponent and is on target with a firm left hook.  
Igityan steps away from his opponent and lands two jabs followed by a cross to his opponents head.  
Igityan walks Yayikian onto the ropes.  Igityan feints a jab, and then hits home with a cross.  
Igityan tries to step out of his opponents range.  Igityan feints a cross, but Yayikian does not fall for it and is on target with a cross.  
Igityan lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Yayikian closes the distance.  Igityan hits home with a right hook.  
Igityan throws a right hook, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a left hook.

Igityan walks Yayikian onto the ropes.  Igityan waits at the mid-range with a lowered guard, waiting for his opponent to throw a punch.  Yayikian throws a cross, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a WICKED cross.  IT LOOKS LIKE YAYIKIAN WAS HURT BY THAT SHOT!  Yayikian quickly recovers.

Yayikian feints a jab, but Igityan does not fall for it and is on target with a stinging cross.  
Yayikian closes the distance.  Yayikian pivots to the left of his opponent and lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  
Igityan digs in a right hook to his opponents ribs.  
Igityan lands a jab.  
Igityan manages to force Yayikian onto the ropes.  Igityan lands a cross followed by a jab to his opponents head.  HE HAS HIS OPPONENT IN TROUBLE!  Yayikian recovers before his opponent can take advantage.

Yayikian could be stopped here, if Igityan can find the right shot!  Igityan lands a right hook to the head, a left uppercut to the body and a left hook to the head.  He then lands a cross to the head, a left uppercut to the body and a left hook to the body.  Yayikian now seems to have got his legs back.  
At the end of Round 3, lets listen in on the corners...Yayikian's trainer is telling his fighter he needs to be more active or he's going to get outworked.
