Davie Boyd vs Chris Kennon

Boxing Daily Report from the AI USA-Kentucky promoted show at Lexington Mahaffy, Lexington,  taking place on 16/07/2041:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the USA-Kentucky Light Heavyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Davie Boyd (11 - 14 - 3) who hails from Louisville, USA and Chris Kennon(8 - 14 - 2) from Lexington, USA.  Boyd weighed in at 175 pounds and 12 ounces, while Kennon weighed in at 174 pounds and 9 ounces.    As Boyd came in over the weight limit, only his opponent will be able to compete for the final eliminator position tonight.  
The referee tonight is Leon Prosser, and the three ringside judges are Ian Buist, Noel Aitkens and Shaun Woodman.
