Richie Quartey vs Oliver Mensah

Boxing Daily Report from the Skebenga Corp promoted show at Gyandu Park, Takoradi,  taking place on 30/07/2041:

Clearly Skebenga Corp have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a final eliminator for the Ghana Minimumweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Richie Quartey (34(7) - 18(8)) who hails from Accra, Ghana and Oliver Mensah(7 - 9 - 4) from Tamale, Ghana.  Both Quartey and Mensah weighed in at 105 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Makalo Antwi, and the three ringside judges are Makalo Antwi, Wayne Bimi and Richard Ofosu-Ayeh.  

Round 1: 

Quartey gets on the inside.  Quartey sidesteps to the right of his opponent and drives a right uppercut into his opponents ribs.  
Mensah attempts to land a jab, but Quartey blocks the shot and counters with a firm right hook.

Frustration is reaching boiling point for Mensah now.   He steps in close and headbutts his opponent!  The ref takes no action over the foul, despite complaints from Quartey.
