Jack Bird vs Clint Blakely

Boxing Daily Report from the North Star Boxing promoted show at Bell Centre, Montreal,  taking place on 03/08/2041:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 6 round matchup are Jack Bird (5(1) - 0) who hails from Calgary, Canada and Clint Blakely(1 - 0) from Gaineau, Canada.  Bird weighed in at 174 pounds and 15 ounces, while Blakely weighed in at 174 pounds and 4 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Erec Adore, and the three ringside judges are Henry Popkin, Johnny Smith and Phil Pearce.  

Round 1: 

Bird lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents body.

The referee warns Bird and breaks the clinch.

At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Blakely's trainer is telling his fighter he needs to be more active or he's going to get outworked.  Blakely's trainer is telling his fighter to tighten his defence.
