Xalvador Chaves vs Diego Mancera

Boxing Daily Report from the Bedwei Promotions promoted show at Fortaleza Amorim, Fortaleza,  taking place on 19/07/2041:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Brazil-Ceara Super Middleweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Xalvador Chaves (4(2) - 1) who hails from Fortaleza, Brazil and Diego Mancera(3 - 5 - 2) from Fortaleza, Brazil.  Chaves weighed in at 168 pounds, while Mancera weighed in at 167 pounds and 15 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Ximen Souva, and the three ringside judges are Oro Augusto, Vicente Socia and Nemesio Lizardo.  

Round 1: 

Chaves steps inside and lands a right hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents body.  
Chaves advances into close range.  Mancera connects with a left hook.

As Mancera tries to work on the inside, the fighters heads come together!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Chaves dabs at his face checking for damage.

Chaves is on target with a forceful right hook to Mancera's body.  MANCERA IS HURT!  Mancera recovers before his opponent can take advantage.
