Karl Connolly vs Thomas Carmody

Boxing Daily Report from the Plunder Boxing promoted show at SECC Hall, Glasgow,  taking place on 03/08/2041:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a final eliminator for the Celtic Middleweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Karl Connolly (27(1) - 19(11) - 1) who hails from Dublin, Ireland and Thomas Carmody(24(8) - 4 - 1) from Limerick, Ireland.  Both Connolly and Carmody weighed in at 160 pounds.  
The referee tonight is William Owen, and the three ringside judges are Abdul Arif, David MacInnes and Anton Adam.
