Tujan St. Marie vs Talbot Gasson

Boxing Daily Report from the Canadian Boxing Federation promoted show at Montreal Galle, Montreal,  taking place on 22/07/2041:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Canada-Quebec Super Middleweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Fight Network, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Tujan St. Marie (20(5) - 1) who hails from Montreal, Canada and Talbot Gasson(5 - 11 - 2) from Montreal, Canada.  St. Marie weighed in at 168 pounds, while Gasson weighed in at 167 pounds and 6 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Gower Paille, and the three ringside judges are Johnny Smith, Bruce Hathorne and Ferrand Pradon.  

Round 1: 

Gasson is looking to keep his distance.  St. Marie lands two straights followed by an overhand left to his opponents head.  
St. Marie gets on the inside and drives a firm left uppercut into his opponents liver.  St. Marie ties up his opponent.  St. Marie is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures St. Marie about fouling.  
St. Marie gets on the inside and lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head, AND HIS OPPONENT IS HURT!  St. Marie holds on to his opponent.  St. Marie is using his forearm in the clinch.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns St. Marie.  Gasson almost instantly recovers. 
St. Marie digs in a stinging right hook to Gasson's body.  
St. Marie is on target with a jab.

St. Marie lands a jab.  
St. Marie advances into close range and crashes a nasty right hook to Gasson's ribs.  GASSON WAS STUNNED BY THAT SHOT!  
St. Marie thinks he can end the show early....he's looking to put Gasson away.  St. Marie lands a left uppercut to the body, a cross to the head and a left hook to the body.  He continues the combination and lands a left uppercut to the body, a left hook to the head and a left hook to the body.  Gasson now seems to have recovered from the bodyshot.  
St. Marie pivots from in front of his opponent.  Gasson tries to land a cross, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a right hook.  
St. Marie closes the distance and forces Gasson to back into a corner.  St. Marie lands a right uppercut to the body, and then to the head.  
St. Marie lands a left hook to the body followed by a right uppercut to the head.  
St. Marie drives a sharp right hook into his opponents body.  St. Marie clinches his opponent.  St. Marie is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref separates the two fighters.  
St. Marie lands a left hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents body, AND KNOCKS GASSON DOWN!  He is back up on his feet at 7.  
St. Marie senses a stoppage victory - he just needs the right shot.  St. Marie lands a right uppercut to the body followed by a cross to the head.  He follows up the attack and lands a left uppercut to the head followed by a right uppercut to the body, AND KNOCKS GASSON DOWN!  He is back up on his feet at 5.  
St. Marie lands a left uppercut followed by a right uppercut to his opponents body.  He follows up the attack and lands a left hook, right hook and a left uppercut to his opponents body, AND SENDS GASSON SPRAWLING TO THE CANVAS!  He tries to rise on shaky legs but Gasson cant beat the count!  The winner by KO is St. Marie!
