Diego Falla vs Diego Cortinas

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Chile-Valparaiso promoted show at Viba del Mar Pedrosa, Viba del Mar,  taking place on 22/07/2041:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the Chile-Valparaiso Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Diego Falla (20(13) - 7(5)) who hails from Viba del Mar, Chile and Diego Cortinas(3 - 10(1) - 2) from Valparaiso, Chile.  Both Falla and Cortinas weighed in at 147 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Oro Borge, and the three ringside judges are Ovidio Armenta, Diego Patricio and Pablo Cruz.  

Round 1: 

Falla sidesteps to the right of his opponent and lands a straight 1 - 2.

Cortinas steps inside.  Falla retreats back to the ropes, and waits for his opponent to attack.  Cortinas accepts the invitation, throwing powerful combos, but is unable to land anything on Falla.  
Falla tries to step out of his opponents range and lands a cross followed by a jab to his opponents head.  THAT HURT HIS OPPONENT!  Cortinas almost instantly gets his legs back.

Cortinas gets on the inside.  Falla lands a right hook followed by a right uppercut to his opponents head.

Falla steps to the outside and lands with a sharp jab.  
Falla lands a jab, cross and an overhand right to his opponents head, AND SENDS CORTINAS SPRAWLING TO THE CANVAS!  He is back up on his feet at 8.  Cortinas almost instantly gets his legs back.

Falla is looking to keep his distance and SLAMS a FIERCE cross into his opponents face.  CORTINAS IS HURT!  Cortinas almost instantly gets his legs back.

Cortinas gets on the inside.  Falla lands a left hook to the body, a right hook to the head and a left hook to the head, AND KNOCKS CORTINAS DOWN!  He is on his feet as the count reaches 5.  Cortinas recovers before his opponent can take advantage. 
Falla steps away from his opponent and lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Falla tries to keep the action at long range and connects with an overhand right.  
Falla steps away from his opponent and hits the target with a solid jab.  
Falla lands two jabs followed by a cross to his opponents head.  
Falla hits the target with a spiteful jab.  
Cortinas is looking to close the distance.  Falla connects with a left uppercut.  
Cortinas pivots to the left of his opponent.  Falla lands a straight 1 - 2.  
Falla steps to the outside and finds the target with a ramrod jab.  
Falla lands a double jab to his opponents head.

Cortinas steps inside and throws a right hook, but Falla holds on to his opponent.  Falla leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. As they grapple, Cortinas pushes his forearm into Falla's face.  The ref separates the two fighters.  
Falla steps to the outside and connects with a cross.  
Falla lands a jab, right uppercut and a jab to his opponents head.  
Falla lands a cross followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Falla finds the target with a jab.  
Cortinas feints a jab, tricking Falla into throwing a left hook counter.  Cortinas springs the trap, countering with  a cross.  
Falla tries to step out of his opponents range and lands with a hard jab.  
Cortinas closes the distance.  Falla lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Falla is on target with a cross.  
Cortinas advances into close range.  Falla throws a left uppercut, but his opponent slips the punch.  Falla clinches his opponent.  Falla uses his free hand to throw a hook, but it hits Cortinas behind the head. The ref separates the two fighters.  
Falla lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents head, AND DROPS CORTINAS!  He beats the count, getting up at 7.  Cortinas quickly recovers. 
Cortinas steps inside.  Falla connects with a WICKED left hook.  CORTINAS IS HURT!  
Cortinas now seems to have got his legs back.  
Falla hits home with an overhand right.  
Falla lands a straight 1 - 2.  
Falla tries to land a jab, but Cortinas sidesteps and counters with a left hook.  
Falla switches the action to the outside and hits home with a spiteful jab.  
Falla tries to step out of his opponents range and drives a ramrod jab into his opponents face.  
Falla finds the target with a jab.  
Falla lands a cross followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Falla lands two jabs followed by a cross to his opponents head.

Falla tries to step out of his opponents range and lands a straight 1 - 2, DROPPING CORTINAS TO THE CANVAS!  He unsteadily tries to get up but is unable to beat the 10 count!  The winner by KO is Falla!
