Frederick Damitz vs Paul Gibbs

Boxing Daily Report from the Fistic Inc promoted show at WIN Entertainment Centre, Wollongong,  taking place on 24/08/2041:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Frederick Damitz (29(25) - 1) who hails from Basel, Switzerland and Paul Gibbs(20(13) - 5(3)) from Gold Coast, Australia.  Damitz weighed in at 129 pounds and 14 ounces, while Gibbs weighed in at 129 pounds and 7 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Lewis Mescall, and the three ringside judges are Jack Muffett, Owen Frame and Richard Nessmith.  

Round 1:

Gibbs advances into close range and manouvers Damitz onto the ropes.  Damitz knows Gibbs is hurt...he is putting the pressure on now, looking for the stoppage.  Damitz lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents body, AND GIBBS IS DOWN!  He is still struggling to his feet as the count reaches 10!  The winner by KO is Damitz!
