Lloyd Sligh vs Paul Kenney

Boxing Daily Report from the Granite Chin Promotions promoted show at Surprise Stadium, Surprise,  taking place on 08/08/2041:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  On the line tonight is the USA-SouthWest Super Bantamweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Lloyd Sligh (16(11) - 0) who hails from Scottsdale, USA and Paul Kenney(34(3) - 5(3) - 2) from Albuquerque, USA.  Sligh weighed in at 122 pounds, while Kenney weighed in at 121 pounds and 10 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Lloyd San Angelo, and the three ringside judges are Declan Page, Mick Kimmick and Hilario Marina.  

Round 1:

Sligh knows Kenney is hurt...he is putting the pressure on now, looking for the stoppage.  Sligh lands a right hook, right uppercut and a right hook to his opponents body.  He follows up the attack and lands a right uppercut, right hook and a left hook to his opponents body, DROPPING KENNEY TO THE CANVAS!  He manages to get up at 6.  It looks like Kenney has now recovered from that earlier bodyshot.  
Sligh steps inside and lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Kenney is on target with a right hook to Sligh's body.

Sligh is looking to force the stoppage!  Sligh lands a left uppercut to the body followed by two straights to the head, KNOCKING KENNEY DOWN!  He fails to beat the count!  The winner by KO is Sligh!
