Richard Hohepa vs Felix Gourlay

Boxing Daily Report from the Lionheart Promotions promoted show at Ian Simrell Gym, Auckland,  taking place on 30/07/2041:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the New Zealand-Auckland Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Richard Hohepa (4 - 6) who hails from Waitakere, New Zealand and Felix Gourlay(3 - 6(2) - 1) from Manukau, New Zealand.  Hohepa weighed in at 147 pounds, while Gourlay weighed in at 146 pounds And 10 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Chris Heretini, and the three ringside judges are Mike Sproule, Mason Dunning and Ellis Raharuhi.  

Round 1: 

Gourlay retreats back to the ropes, and waits for his opponent to attack.  Hohepa is whaling away with hooks, but Gourlay keeps his defence tight.
