Ian Strang vs Mairo Kakewahine

Boxing Daily Report from the AI New Zealand-Wellington promoted show at Stuart Stealey Gym, Wellington,  taking place on 30/07/2041:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the New Zealand-Wellington Super Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Ian Strang (7 - 5 - 1) who hails from Wellington, New Zealand and Mairo Kakewahine(3 - 4 - 1) from Wellington, New Zealand.  Both Strang and Kakewahine weighed in at 140 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Mel Binner, and the three ringside judges are Jonathan Laurie, Erorangi Muunu and Gareth Page.
