He continues the combination and lands two left uppercuts followed by a right hook to his opponents head. Gilkeson closes the distance and lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents head. Gilkeson holds on to his opponent. Gilkeson is using his forearm in the clinch. The referee separates the two fighters and warns Gilkeson. Gilkeson lands a right hook to the body, a right hook to the head and a left hook to the head. Gilkeson holds on to his opponent. Gilkeson leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue. Gilkeson finds the target with a jab. Gilkeson gets on the inside and DETONATES a HUGE left hook on his opponents face. PRYCE WAS STUNNED BY THAT SHOT! Gilkeson is looking to keep his distance. Gilkeson is looking to force the stoppage! Gilkeson sidesteps to the left of his opponent. Pryce throws a right hook, but Gilkeson holds on to his opponent. Gilkeson uses his free hand to throw a hook, but it hits Pryce behind the head. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue. Gilkeson drives a cross into his opponents body. Pryce gets on the inside. Gilkeson lands two right hooks to his opponents ribs. Gilkeson hits home with a solid cross. Gilkeson tries to land a right hook, but Pryce sidesteps and counters with a left uppercut. At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Pryce's trainer is telling his fighter to increase his workrate.
