Ignado Blas vs John Burke

Boxing Daily Report from the Ognjen promoted show at Theater Center, Los Angeles,  taking place on 07/08/2041:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 6 round matchup are Ignado Blas (13(13) - 0) who hails from Masaya, Nicaragua and John Burke(18(1) - 9(4) - 1(NC)) from Minneapolis, USA.  Blas weighed in at 126 pounds, while Burke weighed in at 125 pounds And 5 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Clinton Proffitt, and the three ringside judges are Malcolm Waldie, Amer Othman and Mark Cardozo.  

Round 1: 

Blas advances into close range and lands a left hook to the head followed by a right hook to the body, AND BURKE IS KNOCKED DOWN!  He beats the count, getting up at 5.  Burke recovers before his opponent can take advantage. 
Burke connects with a cross.  
Blas gets on the inside.  Burke throws a right uppercut, but Blas holds on to his opponent.  Blas pushes his forearm into Burke's face.  The referee warns Blas and breaks the clinch.  
Blas lands a right hook to the body followed by a left hook to the head.  
Blas walks his opponent onto the ropes.  Blas attempts to land a right hook, but Burke sidesteps and counters with a cross.  
Blas quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Burke tries to land a left uppercut, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a FIERCE cross.  IT LOOKS LIKE BURKE WAS HURT BY THAT SHOT!  Burke recovers before his opponent can take advantage. 
Burke throws a left hook, but is unable to get through his opponents guard.  Blas ties up his opponent.  Blas uses his free hand to throw a body hook, but it lands on Burke's kidney. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Blas drives a left uppercut into his opponents body.  
Burke sidesteps to the right of his opponent and lands a cross to the body followed by a jab to the head.  
Burke tries to step out of his opponents range and hits home with a cross.  
Blas gets on the inside.  Burke lands a left hook.  
Blas is looking to close the distance and digs in a solid right hook to Burke's body.  
Blas manouvers Burke into the corner.  Blas is on target with a solid right hook to Burke's body.  Blas ties up his opponent.  Blas leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref separates the two fighters.  
Blas is on target with a left hook to his opponents liver.  
Blas digs in a right hook to his opponents body.  
Blas hits home with a right hook.  Blas ties up his opponent.  Burke leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Blas lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents body.

Blas pivots to the left of his opponent.  Burke tries to land a jab, but Blas parries the shot and counters with a sharp right uppercut.

Blas feints a right hook, and then digs in a right hook to his opponents ribcage.  
Blas is on target with a sharp left hook to Burke's body.

Blas steps inside and lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs, AND STUNS HIS OPPONENT!

The two boxers are fighting in-close, but their heads clash!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Burke dabs at his face checking for damage.  
Blas lands three consecutive right hooks to his opponents ribs, AND STUNS HIS OPPONENT!  Burke recovers before his opponent can take advantage. 
Blas manouvers his opponent into the corner.  Burke throws a right hook, but Blas holds on to his opponent.  Blas leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref breaks Blas's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Blas throws a left uppercut, but the shot is blocked.  Blas ties up his opponent.  Burke is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Blas drives a firm right hook into his opponents body.  
Blas is on target with a stinging right hook to his opponents ribs.  
Blas is on target with a solid left hook to his opponents body.  IT LOOKS LIKE BURKE WAS HURT BY THAT SHOT!  Blas ties up his opponent.  Blas leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref breaks Blas's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  Burke almost instantly recovers. 
Burke throws a jab, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a right hook.

Blas is on target with a weighty right uppercut to Burke's body.  IT LOOKS LIKE BURKE WAS HURT BY THAT SHOT!  Burke recovers before his opponent can take advantage. 
Blas gets on the inside.  Burke tries to land a right hook, but Blas slips the shot and counters with a solid left uppercut.  
Burke attempts to land a left hook, but Blas dodges the shot and counters with a FEARSOME left hook.  BURKE HAS BEEN KNOCKED DOWN!  He is on his feet as the count reaches 4.  
Burke is looking to keep the action on the outside and lands with a hard jab.  
Blas lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head.  
Blas lands a left hook to the head followed by a left uppercut to the body.  
Burke pivots to the left of his opponent.  Blas lands a jab followed by a left hook to his opponents head, AND HIS OPPONENT IS HURT!  
Blas gets on the inside.  Blas knows Burke is hurt...he is putting the pressure on now, looking for the stoppage.  Blas lands a double right hook to his opponents head, AND DOWN GOES BURKE!  He is still struggling to his feet as the count reaches 10!  The winner by KO is Blas!
