Clint Kelly vs Rico Grimaldo

Boxing Daily Report from the International Boxing Fight League promoted show at Oregon State Fair & Expo Center Cascade Hall, Salem,  taking place on 20/07/2041:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 6 round matchup are Clint Kelly (2 - 0) who hails from Cork, Ireland and Rico Grimaldo(9 - 2) from Jacksonville, USA.  Kelly weighed in at 199 pounds and 5 ounces, while Grimaldo weighed in at 199 pounds and 11 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Kian Bilbao, and the three ringside judges are William Terrace, Joe Rainey and Charles Banks.  

Round 1: 

Kelly lands a cross.

Kelly is looking to close the distance.  Kelly pivots to the side of his opponent and digs in a right hook to his opponents body.  
Grimaldo switches the action to the outside.  Kelly sidesteps to the left of his opponent and lands a cross.  
Kelly steps inside and lands a left hook to the body followed by a right hook to the head.  He then lands a left uppercut followed by a right uppercut to his opponents head.  
Kelly backs onto the ropes...he is waving his opponent in!  Grimaldo tries to tag Kelly on the ropes, but his opponent blocks every shot!  
Kelly is on target with a right hook to his opponents body.  Kelly wants to work on the inside, but accidentally clashes heads with his opponent!  The ref acknowledges the accidental headclash but allows the action to continue.    That accidental headbutt has resulted in some damage to Grimaldo.  That has caused slight swelling  around the left eye.

Grimaldo pivots from in front of his opponent.  Kelly lands a double left hook to his opponents head.  
Grimaldo throws a jab, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a left uppercut.

Kelly steps inside.  Grimaldo pivots to the side of his opponent.  Grimaldo throws a left hook, but his opponent dodges the shot and counters with a left uppercut.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Grimaldo's trainer is advising how he could stop so many clean shots getting through.
