Joey Brogan vs James Ward

Boxing Daily Report from the Kronk Gym II promoted show at Peter Hickey Gym, Detroit,  taking place on 06/08/2041:

Clearly Kronk Gym II have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the USA-Michigan Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Joey Brogan (1 - 7 - 2) who hails from Grand Rapids, USA and James Ward(13(3) - 7) from Detroit, USA.  Brogan weighed in at 134 pounds, while Ward weighed in at 135 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Lewis Chiens, and the three ringside judges are Amon Watters, Leeroy Shedden and Jonathan Bees.  

Round 1: 

Brogan throws a left uppercut, but Ward ties up his opponent.  Ward is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Brogan gets on the inside.  Ward drives a right hook into his opponents ribs.  
Ward lands a left uppercut to the body followed by a left hook to the head.  
Ward lands a right hook followed by a right uppercut to his opponents body.  
Ward advances into close range and lands a left uppercut to the body followed by a right hook to the head.  
Brogan is looking to keep his distance.  Ward sidesteps to the right of his opponent and lands a cross.  
Ward closes the distance and lands a right hook, right uppercut and a right hook to his opponents body.  
Ward lands a left uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  
Brogan is looking to keep the action on the outside.  Ward sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Brogan hits home with a cross.  
Ward steps inside and lands two right hooks to his opponents ribs.

Ward gets on the inside and walks Brogan down, trapping him in a neutral corner.  Ward lands a right uppercut to the head, a left uppercut to the head and a right hook to the body.

Brogan is looking to keep the action on the outside and lands an overhand right followed by a cross to his opponents head.

Ward steps inside.  Ward connects with a firm left hook.  Brogan wants to work on the inside, but accidentally clashes heads with his opponent!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Ward dabs at his face checking for damage.  
Ward lands two consecutive left uppercuts to his opponents head.  
Ward lands a right uppercut to the body, and then to the head.  
Ward hits home with a sharp left uppercut.  
Ward lands a double right hook to his opponents head.  THAT HURT HIS OPPONENT!  Brogan quickly recovers. 
Ward advances into close range and lands a right uppercut to the head, a right hook to the head and a left hook to the body.  
Ward pivots to the left of his opponent and digs in a left hook to his opponents body.  
Brogan advances into close range.  Ward lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Ward steps inside and lands a left uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents body.

Ward connects with a left hook.  
Ward gets on the inside and forces Brogan to back into the blue corner.  Ward lands a left hook to the body, a right uppercut to the head and a left hook to the body.  
Brogan attempts to land a left uppercut, but Ward slips the shot and counters with a firm left hook.  
Ward lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Ward sidesteps to the right of his opponent and lands consecutive right uppercuts to his opponents body.  He then lands a left uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents head.
