Julien Saint-Jean vs Robert Gibson

Boxing Daily Report from the GAT Management promoted show at The Design Exchange, Toronto,  taking place on 29/07/2041:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 8 round matchup are Julien Saint-Jean (10(2) - 0) who hails from Montreal, Canada and Robert Gibson(12 - 17(5) - 7) from Calgary, Canada.  Saint-Jean weighed in at 126 pounds, while Gibson weighed in at 125 pounds and 7 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Jean-Baptiste Villon, and the three ringside judges are Kian Clanahan, Mark Weatherley and Louis Montrose.  

Round 1: 

Saint-Jean lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.  He continues the combination and lands a right hook to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  Saint-Jean holds on to his opponent.  The ref breaks Saint-Jean's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Saint-Jean advances into close range and drives a left hook into Gibson's liver.  Saint-Jean clinches his opponent.  As they grapple, Saint-Jean pushes his forearm into Gibson's face.  The ref separates the two fighters.  
Saint-Jean lands a stinging jab.  
Saint-Jean lands a double right hook to his opponents head.  He follows up the attack and lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Saint-Jean throws a left hook, but is unable to get through his opponents guard.  Saint-Jean holds on to his opponent.  Saint-Jean is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref separates the two fighters.  
Saint-Jean hits home with a left uppercut.  Gibson wants to work on the inside, but accidentally clashes heads with his opponent!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Saint-Jean dabs at his face checking for damage.
