Ricky Quay vs Floyd McCardell

Boxing Daily Report from the DOTT promoted show at Worcester Dollar, Worcester,  taking place on 06/08/2041:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the USA-Massachusetts Super Bantamweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Ricky Quay (6 - 4) who hails from Worcester, USA and Floyd McCardell(28(14) - 3) from Boston, USA.  Both Quay and McCardell weighed in at 122 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Peter Cooper, and the three ringside judges are Charles Keath, Mike Stobie and Vincent Weale.  

Round 1: 

Quay closes the distance and digs in a left uppercut to McCardell's body.  McCardell holds on to his opponent.  As they grapple, McCardell pushes his forearm into Quay's face.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures McCardell about fouling.  
McCardell steps inside and drives a left hook into Quay's body.  McCardell holds on to his opponent.  The ref breaks McCardell's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
McCardell lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents body.
