Ryo Ishimoto vs Kenji Takano

Boxing Daily Report from the Japanese Boxing Federation promoted show at Aki Sakamoto Gym, Takatsuki,  taking place on 10/08/2041:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Japan-Osaka Super Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Ryo Ishimoto (11 - 25 - 4) who hails from Takatsuki, Japan and Kenji Takano(5 - 17 - 4) from Sakai, Japan.  Ishimoto weighed in at 130 pounds, while Takano weighed in at 129 pounds And 11 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Fumio Shiba, and the three ringside judges are Shinji Matsuura, Hiro Kamei and Shinji Iseri.  

Round 1: 

Ishimoto throws an overhand left, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a left uppercut to Ishimoto's body.  
Ishimoto tries to keep the action at long range and lands a jab to his opponents body.  
Takano closes the distance and hits home with a right hook.

Takano gets on the inside.  Takano pivots from in front of his opponent and hits home with a right hook.
