Boxing Daily Report from the Showtime Promotions promoted show at The LINQ Hotel & Casino, Las Vegas,  taking place on 01/08/2041:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 6 round matchup are Darryl Abar (7(7) - 0) who hails from Jacksonville, USA and Chris Home(2 - 1) from Denver, USA.  Abar weighed in at 147 pounds, while Home weighed in at 147 pounds and 12 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Will Cerezo, and the three ringside judges are Waqar Othman, Mark Hasson and George Ramo.  

Round 1: 

Abar gets on the inside and lands two right hooks to the body, and one to the head.  Abar ties up his opponent.  Abar pushes his forearm into Home's face.  The referee warns Abar and breaks the clinch.

Home is looking to keep his distance and connects with a cross.  
Abar is on target with a jab.  
Abar lands two right hooks to the body, and one to the head.

Home is looking to keep his distance.  Abar stalks his opponent...he just needs the right shot to put his opponent away!  Abar digs in a telling left uppercut to Home's liver.  HOME HAS BEEN KNOCKED DOWN!  He is on his feet as the count reaches 8.  
Home now seems to have recovered from the bodyshot.  
Abar advances into close range and whips in a mean right hook to Home's body.  HOME WAS STUNNED BY THAT SHOT!  Home recovers before his opponent can take advantage. 
Abar closes the distance and is on target with a solid left hook to his opponents ribs.
