Angel Bernardez vs Frantz Strand

Boxing Daily Report from the Ringside Promotions promoted show at MVP Arena, Albany,  taking place on 13/09/2041:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Angel Bernardez (14(12) - 0) who hails from Chiclayo, Peru and Frantz Strand(22(18) - 7(4)) from Basel, Switzerland.  Both Bernardez and Strand weighed in at 130 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Mick Cohran, and the three ringside judges are Clint Brydon, Richard Denholm and Joe Zurio.  

Round 1: 

Bernardez steps inside.  Strand is on target with a stinging left hook to his opponents body.  
Strand connects with a right uppercut.  Bernardez holds on to his opponent.  As they grapple, Strand pushes his forearm into Bernardez's face.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Strand about fouling.
