Fatjon Kalaj vs Arian Thika

Boxing Daily Report from the PedroMartinez promoted show at Tirana International Hotel, Tirana,  taking place on 14/08/2041:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Albania Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on RTSH Sport, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Fatjon The KO Kid Kalaj (26(23) - 10(7) - 1) who hails from Tirana, Albania and Arian Thika(4 - 2(1)) from Tirana, Albania.  Both Kalaj and Thika weighed in at 135 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Dalmat Duka, and the three ringside judges are Besim Bardha, Arian Sopa and Fisnik Cikirikci.  

Round 1: 

Thika attempts to land a jab, but Kalaj blocks the shot and counters with a weighty cross.  IT LOOKS LIKE THIKA WAS HURT BY THAT SHOT!

Kalaj contemptuously drops his hands, trying to provoke his opponent.  Thika throws a right uppercut, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a telling right hook.  THIKA IS HURT!  Thika quickly recovers.

Kalaj tries to keep the action at long range and throws a jab, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a right hook.

Kalaj attempts to land an overhand right, but Thika sidesteps and counters with a left uppercut.  
Thika throws a cross, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a sharp cross.  
Kalaj lands a jab followed by a overhand right to his opponents head.  HE HAS HIS OPPONENT IN TROUBLE!  Thika recovers before his opponent can take advantage.
