Zack Hay vs Corey Feng

Boxing Daily Report from the Smokin Joe promoted show at Sofi Stadium, Los Angeles,  taking place on 05/10/2041:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Zombie Zack Hay (16(11) - 2) who hails from Greeley, USA and Corey Feng(23(3) - 9(8)) from Johor Bahru, Malaysia.  Both Hay and Feng weighed in at 115 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Amon Scroggie, and the three ringside judges are Peter Look, Cody Bustamante and Noel Spencer.  

Round 1: 

Hay lands with a sharp jab.  
Hay tries to land a left uppercut, but his opponent parries the shot and counters with a right hook.  
Hay tries to step out of his opponents range and lands a stinging jab to his opponents body.  
Feng is looking to close the distance and forces Hay to retreat onto the ropes.  Hay digs in a firm left hook to his opponents body.

Feng closes the distance.  Hay pivots from in front of his opponent and lands consecutive left uppercuts to his opponents body.  
Feng throws a jab, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a stinging right uppercut to Feng's ribcage.  
Hay switches the action to the outside.  Feng sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Hay is on target with a ramrod jab.  
Hay lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head.  
Feng manages to force Hay onto the ropes.  Feng is on target with a left hook.  
Hay steps away from his opponent.  Feng sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Hay lands two jabs followed by an overhand right to his opponents head.  
Hay lands a ramrod jab.  
Hay switches the action to the outside and strikes his opponents body with a potent cross.  IT LOOKS LIKE FENG WAS HURT BY THAT SHOT!  Feng almost instantly recovers. 
Feng lands a jab to the body, and then to the head.  
Hay lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Feng walks Hay down, trapping him on the ropes.  Hay lands a jab to the head followed by a cross to the body.  
Hay throws a jab, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a cross.  
Hay tries to keep the action at long range and hits home with a cross.  
Hay lands two straights followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Hay sidesteps to the left of his opponent and is on target with a firm overhand right.  
Feng attempts to land a cross, but Hay slips the shot and counters with a stinging left uppercut.  
Feng steps inside.  Hay is on target with a right hook to his opponents ribcage.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Feng's trainer is advising how he could be more accurate.  Feng's trainer is telling his fighter he needs to be more active or he's going to get outworked.  Feng's trainer is advising how he could improve his defence.
