Jay Peavey vs Arnie Barland

Boxing Daily Report from the Kurusu Promotions promoted show at Quad Superclub, Kingston,  taking place on 01/09/2041:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Jamaica Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Jay Peavey (56(20) - 1 - 1) who hails from Kingston, Jamaica and Arnie Barland(28(1) - 16(6) - 1) from Kingston, Jamaica.  Both Peavey and Barland weighed in at 147 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Oliver Hedley, and the three ringside judges are Paul Risk, Bob Witherow and Robert Harper.
