Zachary Pyper vs Arran Jones

Boxing Daily Report from the AI USA-California promoted show at San Jose Boxing Club, San Jose,  taking place on 19/08/2041:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the USA-California Super Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Fight Now TV, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Zachary Pyper (32(25) - 3(3)) who hails from Moreno Valley, USA and Arran Jones(30 - 17(7) - 2) from Long Beach, USA.  Both Pyper and Jones weighed in at 154 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Mark Gardon, and the three ringside judges are Josh Fall, Gazi Pasha and Robert Rendall.  

Round 1:

Jones walks Pyper down, trapping him on the ropes.  Pyper senses his opponent is hurt.  He is looking to stop Jones and just needs the right shot.  Pyper is on target with a hurtful right hook.  JONES HAS BEEN KNOCKED DOWN!  He beats the count, getting up at 6.  Jones now seems to have his senses back.
