James MacCarrick vs Haaris Bahri

Boxing Daily Report from the Plunder Boxing promoted show at Emirates Arena, Glasgow,  taking place on 05/09/2041:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Celtic Light Flyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are James MacCarrick (11 - 12(3) - 2) who hails from Cork, Ireland and Haaris Bahri(18(9) - 14(3) - 2) from Dundee, UK.  MacCarrick weighed in at 107 pounds and 13 ounces, while Bahri weighed in at 108 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Marcus Couch, and the three ringside judges are Peter McAlister, David MacInnes and Peter McWethy.  

Round 1: 

Bahri closes the distance and digs in a solid left hook to MacCarrick's body.  
MacCarrick pivots to the left of his opponent.  Bahri lands a right hook followed by  two left hooks to his opponents body.  HE HAS HIS OPPONENT IN TROUBLE!  MacCarrick quickly recovers. 
Bahri lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  
Bahri walks his opponent into a corner.  Bahri lands a left hook to the head followed by a right hook to the body.  
MacCarrick is on target with a left uppercut.  
Bahri lands a left hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents body.  
Bahri lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  
Bahri steps inside and cuts off the ring, trapping MacCarrick in a corner.  MacCarrick throws a left hook, but Bahri ties up his opponent.  As they grapple, Bahri pushes his forearm into MacCarrick's face.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Bahri about fouling.  
Bahri pivots to the left of his opponent and lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.  He follows up the attack and lands two right hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Bahri lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Bahri steps inside and is on target with a left uppercut to MacCarrick's ribs.  
Bahri drives a firm right uppercut into MacCarrick's body.  
Bahri crashes a mean right hook to MacCarrick's ribs.  IT LOOKS LIKE MACCARRICK WAS HURT BY THAT SHOT!  
Bahri stalks his opponent...he just needs the right shot to put his opponent away!  Bahri lands a left uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  He then lands a left uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents body, AND DROPS MACCARRICK TO THE CANVAS!  He beats the count, getting up at 4.  It looks like MacCarrick has now recovered from that earlier bodyshot.  
Bahri gets on the inside and drives a solid right hook into MacCarrick's ribs.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...MacCarrick's trainer is advising how he could improve the accuracy of his work.

Bahri lands a right uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents body, AND KNOCKS MACCARRICK DOWN!  He fails to beat the count!  The winner by KO is Bahri!
