Ian Tierney vs Conor MacMillan

Boxing Daily Report from the Iain Llewellyn promoted show at Moxy Dublin City, Dublin,  taking place on 22/08/2041:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Ian Dragon Tierney (12(6) - 1 - 1) who hails from Dublin, Ireland and Conor MacMillan(10 - 13(1) - 4) from Cork, Ireland.  Tierney weighed in at 140 pounds, while MacMillan weighed in at 139 pounds and 14 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Dan McCorquodale, and the three ringside judges are Shane Cody, Michael Corcoran and Leeroy MacEwan.  

Round 1: 

Tierney closes the distance and hits home with a left uppercut.  Tierney holds on to his opponent.  As they grapple, MacMillan pushes his forearm into Tierney's face.  The ref breaks Tierney's hold and signals for the fight to continue.

Tierney steps inside.  Tierney lands a left hook to the head, a right hook to the body and a right hook to the head.  Tierney holds on to his opponent.  Tierney pushes his forearm into MacMillan's face.  The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  Tierney wants to work on the inside, but accidentally clashes heads with his opponent!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as MacMillan dabs at his face checking for damage.  
MacMillan attempts to land a jab, but Tierney sidesteps and counters with a cross.

Tierney lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head.  
Tierney pivots to the left of his opponent and lands a double left hook to his opponents head.  He continues the combination and lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Tierney digs in a firm right uppercut to his opponents ribs.
