Leighton Coughlan vs Herbert Nerad

Boxing Daily Report from the Showtime Promotions promoted show at The Armory, Minneapolis,  taking place on 24/08/2041:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Fox Sports, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Leighton Coughlan (29(13) - 2(1)) who hails from Belfast, UK and Herbert Nerad(29(9) - 4) from Kosice, Slovakia.  Coughlan weighed in at 199 pounds and 12 ounces, while Nerad weighed in at 200 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Charlie Genz, and the three ringside judges are David Scholar, Sam Power and James Dapp.  

Round 1: 

Coughlan lands a jab to the body, and then to the head.  
Nerad tries to land a left uppercut, but Coughlan sidesteps and counters with a left hook.  
Nerad walks Coughlan down, trapping him on the ropes.  Coughlan lands a ramrod jab.  
Coughlan steps away from his opponent.  Nerad is on target with an overhand left.  Nerad tries to land a jab, but his opponent dodges the shot and counters with a WICKED left hook.  NERAD IS HURT!  Nerad recovers before his opponent can take advantage. 
Coughlan steps to the outside and hits home with a solid cross.  
Coughlan hits home with a stinging cross.  
Nerad finds the target with a hard jab.  
Coughlan lands two consecutive overhand rights to his opponents head.  THAT HURT HIS OPPONENT!  
Coughlan is looking for the shot to finish his opponent.  Coughlan lands a left hook, right hook and a left hook to his opponents head, AND KNOCKS NERAD DOWN!  He beats the count, getting up at 4.  
Coughlan lands two straights followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  He continues the combination and lands a right uppercut to the head, a left hook to the body and a left uppercut to the head.  
Coughlan lands a DEVASTATING cross.  NERAD HAS BEEN KNOCKED DOWN!  THE REF DOES NOT EVEN BOTHER WITH THE COUNT...HE'S SEEN ENOUGH AND HAS STOPPED THE FIGHT!  The fight has been stopped!  The winner by TKO is Coughlan!
