Boxing Daily Report from the AI Uganda-Kampala District promoted show at YMCA Ground, Kampala,  taking place on 24/08/2041:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Eastern African Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on UTV, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Gareth Bhimji (31(1) - 12(7) - 5) who hails from Kampala, Uganda and Ludacris Nguni(49(14) - 19(7) - 3) from Lusaka, Zambia.  Bhimji weighed in at 147 pounds, while Nguni weighed in at 146 pounds and 11 ounces.  
The referee tonight is John Wabwiremangen, and the three ringside judges are John Ludigomkasa, Sulaiman Sserumaga and Kieran Nasasira.  

Round 1: 

Bhimji throws a cross, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a stinging left hook.

Nguni advances into close range and connects with a right uppercut.  Nguni tries to land a left hook, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a left hook to his opponents ribs.

Nguni is looking to close the distance and forces Bhimji to retreat onto the ropes.  Nguni lands a solid right uppercut.

Nguni drives a left uppercut into Bhimji's body.  Nguni ties up his opponent.  As they grapple, Nguni pushes his forearm into Bhimji's face.  The referee warns Nguni and breaks the clinch.  
Nguni pivots to the side of his opponent and connects with a cross.  
Nguni steps inside and lands a left hook to the body, a right hook to the head and a left hook to the head.  
Nguni is on target with a left uppercut to Bhimji's body.  
Bhimji throws a left uppercut, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a right hook.  
Bhimji is on target with a right uppercut to Nguni's ribcage.  Bhimji tries to land a left uppercut, but Nguni slips the shot and counters with a cross.  
Nguni lands three consecutive right hooks to his opponents head.  
Nguni connects with a stinging left uppercut.  
Bhimji lands a ramrod jab.  
Nguni lands a right hook to the head followed by a left uppercut to the body.  
Nguni connects with a sharp right hook.  
Bhimji attempts to land a right hook, but Nguni slips the shot and counters with a right hook to his opponents body.

Some sustained pressure from Nguni could be enough to finish Bhimji!  Nguni lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head, AND SENDS BHIMJI SPRAWLING TO THE CANVAS!  He manages to get up at 4.  Bhimji now appears to have recovered from that earlier shot.  
Nguni is on target with a right hook.  Nguni clinches his opponent.  As they grapple, Bhimji pushes his forearm into Nguni's face.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Bhimji about fouling.  
Nguni lands a left uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  He then lands a left uppercut to the body followed by a right hook to the head, AND DROPS BHIMJI!  He tries to rise but his legs dont respond...the count reaches 10!  The winner by KO is Nguni!
