Lloyd Cargill vs Kris Rutherford

Boxing Daily Report from the Gold Coast Boxing promoted show at North Shore Stadium, Auckland,  taking place on 31/08/2041:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Oceania Super Middleweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on TV One, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Lloyd Cargill (28(16) - 3) who hails from Manukau, New Zealand and Kris Rutherford(32(2) - 4(4)) from Sydney, Australia.  Cargill weighed in at 168 pounds, while Rutherford weighed in at 168 pounds and 14 ounces.    As Rutherford came in over the weight limit, only his opponent will be able to compete for the final eliminator position tonight.  
The referee tonight is Alec Brisbane, and the three ringside judges are Paul Vaux, Kenzie Anderson and Ian Brown.
