Juan Escalante vs Ovidio Rodriguez

Boxing Daily Report from the Rico Boxing promoted show at Gig Baylon Gym, San Juan,  taking place on 30/08/2041:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Puerto Rico-San Juan Light Flyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Juan Escalante (5 - 9(4) - 2) who hails from San Juan, Puerto Rico and Ovidio Rodriguez(8 - 24 - 8) from San Juan, Puerto Rico.  Both Escalante and Rodriguez weighed in at 108 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Cortez Redondo, and the three ringside judges are Aimon Linares, Diego Marina and Marco Portalatin.  

Round 1: 

Escalante gets on the inside.  Escalante pivots from in front of his opponent.  Rodriguez hits home with a right hook.
