Harry Finn vs Waleed Fekkai

Boxing Daily Report from the HONEYPUNCH promoted show at Vale Sports Arena, Cardiff,  taking place on 21/09/2041:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Sky Sports, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Harry Finn (26(22) - 5(2)) who hails from Swansea, UK and Waleed Fekkai(20(10) - 10(2)) from Oran, Algeria.  Both Finn and Fekkai weighed in at 147 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Edwyn Brodie, and the three ringside judges are Terry Lyons, Griffith Batton and Joshua Gillespie.  

Round 1: 

Finn is looking to close the distance and lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  
Finn lands a left uppercut, left hook and a right uppercut to his opponents head.  
Finn is looking to close the distance and lands two right hooks to the body, and one to the head.  
Finn lands a stiff jab.  
Finn closes the distance and lands a double right hook to his opponents head.  He then lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Fekkai drives a right hook into his opponents body.  Finn holds on to his opponent.  Finn is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref separates the two fighters.  
Finn lands a double right hook to his opponents head.  
Fekkai throws a jab, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a firm cross.  
Finn closes the distance and lands a firm right uppercut.  
Fekkai digs in a left hook to his opponents body.  
Fekkai quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Finn tries to land a left hook, but Fekkai blocks the shot and counters with a solid left uppercut.  
Finn throws a right hook, but his opponent parries the shot and counters with a cross.  
Finn lands a right uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  As Finn tries to work on the inside, the fighters heads come together!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Fekkai dabs at his face checking for damage.  
Fekkai attempts to land a jab, but Finn sidesteps and counters with a solid cross.  
Fekkai closes the distance and throws a left hook, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a FEROCIOUS right hook.  IT LOOKS LIKE FEKKAI WAS HURT BY THAT SHOT!  
Finn thinks he can end the show early....he's looking to put Fekkai away.  Finn DETONATES a nasty left uppercut on his opponents face.  FEKKAI IS SENT SPRAWLING TO THE CANVAS!  He is on his feet as the count reaches 6.  
Finn lands a left hook, right hook and a left uppercut to his opponents head.  He continues the combination and lands two left hooks followed by a left uppercut to his opponents head, KNOCKING FEKKAI DOWN!  He manages to get up at 9.  It looks like Fekkai has now recovered from that shot earlier.  
Finn connects with a right hook.  
Fekkai is looking to close the distance and manouvers his opponent into a neutral corner.  Finn lands a sharp right hook.  
Finn is looking to close the distance and throws a right hook, but his opponent dodges the shot and counters with a cross.  
Finn steps inside.  Fekkai throws a left hook, but Finn holds on to his opponent.  Finn pushes his forearm into Fekkai's face.  The referee breaks the clinch and warns Finn to stop fouling.  
Finn is looking to close the distance.  Fekkai digs in a right hook to Finn's ribcage.  Finn clinches his opponent.  Fekkai leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref breaks Finn's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Fekkai's trainer is suggesting ways of getting through to his opponent.  Fekkai's trainer is telling his fighter to increase his workrate.  Fekkai's trainer is telling his fighter to tighten his defence.

Fekkai steps inside.  Finn throws a right uppercut, but the shot lands on his opponents guard.  Finn ties up his opponent.  Finn throws a hook within the clinch but hits his opponent behind the head. The referee separates the two fighters and warns Finn.  
Finn connects with a firm left uppercut.  
Finn lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head, AND STUNS HIS OPPONENT!  Fekkai almost instantly gets his legs back. 
Fekkai forces Finn to retreat onto the ropes.  Fekkai feints a right hook, and then connects with a left hook.  
Fekkai steps inside.  Finn lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  
Finn hits home with a cross.  Finn throws a right hook, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a left uppercut.  
Finn closes the distance and connects with a right hook.  Finn tries to land a right hook, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a left uppercut.  
Fekkai attempts to land a left uppercut, but Finn slips the shot and counters with a stinging cross.  
Finn lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Finn lands a double right hook to his opponents head.  
Fekkai is on target with a stinging left hook.  
Finn steps inside and SLAMS a BRUTAL left hook into his opponents face.  FEKKAI WAS STUNNED BY THAT SHOT!  Finn holds on to his opponent.  Fekkai uses his free hand to throw a body hook, but it lands on Finn's kidney. Fekkai quickly recovers. 
Finn advances into close range and is on target with a sharp right uppercut.  Finn ties up his opponent.  Finn leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Finn is on target with a stinging right hook to his opponents ribs.  
Fekkai hits home with a left hook.  
Finn lands a right hook followed by a cross to his opponents head.  
Fekkai forces Finn to retreat into the blue corner.  Fekkai sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Finn crashes a hurtful right hook to his opponents body.  IT LOOKS LIKE FEKKAI WAS HURT BY THAT SHOT!  
Finn steps inside.  Finn is looking to force the stoppage!  Finn whips in a nasty left hook to his opponents body.  FEKKAI IS DOWN!  He is on his feet as the count reaches 8.  It looks like Fekkai has now recovered from that earlier bodyshot.  
Fekkai drives a right hook into Finn's body.  
Finn drives a left uppercut into Fekkai's body.  
Finn lands a cross to the body, and then to the head.  
Fekkai manages to force Finn onto the ropes.  Fekkai lands a left hook.

Finn throws a cross, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a left hook.  
Finn lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head, AND STUNS HIS OPPONENT!  
The right shot from Finn could be enough to force the stoppage!  Finn lands a left hook, left uppercut and a right hook to his opponents body, AND FEKKAI IS DOWN!  He is on his feet as the count reaches 8.  He doesnt look in good shape though! Fekkai is still on wobbly legs as the ref signals that the fight is over.  The winner by TKO is Finn!
