Takeshi Kato vs Ki-hun Joh

Boxing Daily Report from the MisMatchRoom Promotions promoted show at Tokyo Metropolitan Gymnasium, Tokyo,  taking place on 14/10/2041:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Takeshi Kato (18(14) - 0) who hails from Nagoya, Japan and Ki-hun Joh(24(3) - 2(1) - 1) from Incheon, South Korea.  Kato weighed in at 122 pounds, while Joh weighed in at 121 pounds And 12 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Taro Yamazaki, and the three ringside judges are Hajime Kubota, Yuji Mihara and Taro Ota.  

Round 1: 

Kato lands a jab.  
Kato feints a jab, and then lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head.  
Joh quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Kato hits home with a solid jab.  
Joh lands a jab followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  
Joh manages to force Kato onto the ropes.  Joh lands a left hook.  
Kato digs in a right uppercut to his opponents ribs.  Kato tries to land a left hook, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a right hook.  
Joh finds the target with a spiteful jab.  
Kato slams a big left hook into Joh's liver.  JOH IS SENT SPRAWLING TO THE CANVAS!  He is back up on his feet at 4.  
Joh walks his opponent down, trapping him on the ropes.  Joh feints a cross, and then attempts to land a right hook, but Kato parries the shot and counters with a firm right hook.  
Kato lands two jabs followed by a cross to his opponents head.  
Kato feints a jab, and then hits home with a cross.  
Joh lands an overhand right.  
Kato feints a jab, tricking Joh into throwing a cross counter.  Kato springs the trap, countering with  a firm right hook.  
Joh throws an overhand right, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a solid left uppercut.  
Kato lands with a stinging jab.  
Kato lands a straight 1 - 2.  
Joh hits home with a right hook.  
Joh walks Kato onto the ropes.  Kato lands a hard jab.

Kato steps to the outside and drives a ramrod jab into his opponents face.  
Joh tries to land a cross, but Kato dodges the shot and counters with a right uppercut.  
Kato lands a straight 1 - 2.  He follows up the attack and lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head.  
Kato sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Joh lands a jab.  Joh throws an overhand right, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a left hook.  
Joh manages to force Kato onto the ropes.  Kato lands a straight 1 - 2.  
Joh pivots to the side of his opponent.  Kato lands two left hook's to the body followed by a cross to the head.  
Joh tries to land a left uppercut, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a left uppercut.  
Kato lands an overhand left.  
Kato lands a right hook followed by a cross to his opponents head.  
Kato steps to the outside and lands a cross to the body, and then to the head.  THAT HURT HIS OPPONENT!  
Kato senses a stoppage victory - he just needs the right shot.  Kato lands a right uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents head, AND KNOCKS JOH DOWN!  He makes it to one knee, but is unable to rise any further as the ref counts 10!  The winner by KO is Kato!
