Gig Sarmiento vs Clint Catotocan

Boxing Daily Report from the Poku Promotions promoted show at Calamba Yamat, Calamba,  taking place on 01/09/2041:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the Philippines-Laguna Super Bantamweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Gig Sarmiento (35(1) - 15(8)) who hails from San Pablo, Philippines and Clint Catotocan(4 - 9(1) - 1) from Calamba, Philippines.  Both Sarmiento and Catotocan weighed in at 122 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Luis Lamanilao, and the three ringside judges are Scott Tulabing, Cuba Villescas and Orlando Arrendondo.  

Round 1: 

Sarmiento finds the target with a jab.

The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Sarmiento dabs at his face checking for damage.    It looks like the clash of heads has caused some damage to Sarmiento.  That has caused minor swelling  around the left eye.
