Mark Wisely vs John Desmond

Boxing Daily Report from the Western Promotions promoted show at Hisense Arena, Melbourne,  taking place on 16/09/2041:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Australia-Victoria Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Mark Wisely (20(8) - 3(1) - 2) who hails from Geelong, Australia and John Desmond(7 - 5(4) - 1) from Melbourne, Australia.  Both Wisely and Desmond weighed in at 126 pounds.  
The referee tonight is John Travis, and the three ringside judges are Ricky Gebbie, Andy Wright and Jay Sterling.  

Round 1: 

Wisely lands with a spiteful jab.

Desmond walks his opponent down, trapping him on the ropes.  Desmond sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Wisely drives a spiteful jab into his opponents face.
