Neil Wayne vs Angel Picado

Boxing Daily Report from the ghost style ANDREW promoted show at Syed Yousuf Gym, San Francisco,  taking place on 05/09/2041:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the USA-California Light Heavyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Neil Wayne (8 - 9(1) - 5) who hails from Los Angeles, USA and Angel Picado(13(2) - 7 - 1) from San Diego, USA.  Both Wayne and Picado weighed in at 175 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Michael Rice, and the three ringside judges are Clinton Proffitt, Adam Reina and Abdul Ozer.  

Round 1: 

Picado is looking to close the distance.  Wayne throws a right hook, but Picado holds on to his opponent.  As they grapple, Picado pushes his forearm into Wayne's face.  The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Picado is looking to close the distance and lands a right hook to the head, a left uppercut to the head and a left hook to the body.  
Picado drives a right hook into Wayne's ribcage.  
Picado walks his opponent down, trapping him in the corner.  Picado lands two left hooks to the body, and one to the head.  Picado holds on to his opponent.  The ref separates the two fighters.

Wayne is looking to keep the action on the outside.  Picado drives a cross into Wayne's body.  Picado tries to land a jab, but Wayne blocks the shot and counters with a cross.  
Picado steps inside and is on target with a right hook.  
Wayne quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Picado is on target with a cross.  
Wayne throws a right hook, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a right uppercut.  
Picado is on target with a left hook to Wayne's body.  
Picado lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Picado manouvers his opponent into the corner.  Picado lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  Picado clinches his opponent.  Wayne hits his opponent with a kidney shot within the clinch. Picado leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Picado lands three consecutive right hooks to his opponents head.  
Picado throws a left hook, but his opponent sidesteps.  Picado ties up his opponent.  Wayne throws a hook within the clinch but hits his opponent behind the head. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Picado manouvers his opponent into the corner.  Picado lands a right hook followed by  two left uppercuts to his opponents head.  
Wayne attempts to land a left uppercut, but Picado parries the shot and counters with a stinging left hook.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Wayne's trainer is advising how he could improve the accuracy of his work.  Wayne's trainer is telling his fighter he needs to be more active or he's going to get outworked.  Wayne's trainer is passing on some tactical advice.
