Joel Cromie vs John Watson

Boxing Daily Report from the Numb Nation promoted show at James Speir Gym, New Haven,  taking place on 05/09/2041:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the USA-Connecticut Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Joel Cromie (11(1) - 3(2) - 1) who hails from Hartford, USA and John Watson(13 - 5(3)) from Bridgeport, USA.  Both Cromie and Watson weighed in at 147 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Peter Catanach, and the three ringside judges are Richard Cowans, Ian Cragg and Peter Liddell.  

Round 1: 

Cromie steps inside.  Watson is on target with a right hook to his opponents body.
