George Ylamaki vs Gus Herde

Boxing Daily Report from the Kronk Gym II promoted show at Grand Rapids McLoughlin, Grand Rapids,  taking place on 05/09/2041:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the USA-Michigan Bantamweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are George Ylamaki (8 - 26 - 5) who hails from Detroit, USA and Gus Herde(24 - 9(4) - 2 - 1(NC)) from Detroit, USA.  Both Ylamaki and Herde weighed in at 118 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Mike Craig, and the three ringside judges are Andy Duke, Max Gura and Phil Boydston.  

Round 1: 

Herde closes the distance and is on target with a right hook.  
Herde advances into close range and walks Ylamaki down, trapping him in a corner.  Herde connects with a right uppercut.
