Boxing Daily Report from the Plunder Boxing promoted show at Emirates Arena, Glasgow,  taking place on 05/09/2041:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the British-Scotland Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Alan MacDermott (20 - 11(3)) who hails from Edinburgh, UK and Malcolm McAlister(17 - 9(3) - 3) from Aberdeen, UK.  Both MacDermott and McAlister weighed in at 135 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Marcus Couch, and the three ringside judges are Peter McWethy, David MacInnes and Peter McAlister.  

Round 1: 

MacDermott connects with a left hook.

MacDermott wants to work on the inside, but accidentally clashes heads with his opponent!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as McAlister dabs at his face checking for damage.  McAlister has come off worse after that clash of heads.  That has caused slight damage to the nose.
