Peter Trott vs Malik Rahaim

Boxing Daily Report from the Ringside Promotions promoted show at Crumlin Boxing Club, Dublin,  taking place on 02/09/2041:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 8 round matchup are Peter Trott (10(9) - 1) who hails from New Kingston, Jamaica and Malik Rahaim(12 - 10(1) - 7) from Mashhad, Iran.  Both Trott and Rahaim weighed in at 147 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Killian Bourne, and the three ringside judges are Roy Spalding, Liam Healey and Cillian Murphy.  

Round 1: 

Trott sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Trott hits home with a solid cross.  Trott throws an overhand left, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a right hook.  
Rahaim closes the distance.  Trott lands a right uppercut to the head, a left hook to the head and a right uppercut to the body.  HE HAS HIS OPPONENT IN TROUBLE!  Rahaim quickly recovers. 
Trott feints a right, and then drives a ramrod jab into his opponents face.  
Trott lands a ramrod jab.  
Trott pivots from in front of his opponent and finds the target with a stinging jab.  
Rahaim gets on the inside.  Trott pivots to the left of his opponent.  Rahaim throws a left hook, but Trott ties up his opponent.  The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Trott is looking to keep the action on the outside.  Trott quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and finds the target with a jab.  
Trott is looking to keep his distance and finds the target with a jab.  
Trott lands a jab followed by a overhand left to his opponents head.  
Trott connects with a sharp overhand right.  
Trott sidesteps to the right of his opponent and lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Trott feints a jab, and then lands a cross followed by  two jabs to his opponents head.

Trott clinches his opponent.  Trott is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref separates the two fighters.  
Trott steps away from his opponent.  Trott feints a left hook, and then lands three consecutive jabs to his opponents head.  
Trott feints a right hook, and then lands a double jab to his opponents head.  He follows up the attack and lands an overhand right, overhand left and a jab to his opponents head, AND HIS OPPONENT IS HURT!  Rahaim recovers before his opponent can take advantage. 
Trott hits home with a ramrod jab.  
Trott feints a jab, and then lands a cross followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Rahaim gets on the inside.  Trott lands a firm right uppercut.  Trott holds on to his opponent.  As they grapple, Trott pushes his forearm into Rahaim's face.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns Trott.  
Trott is on target with a cross.  
Trott lands a jab followed by  two overhand rights to his opponents head.  
Trott lands a jab, cross and a jab to his opponents head.  
Rahaim closes the distance.  Trott connects with a right uppercut.  Trott ties up his opponent.  Trott leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref breaks Trott's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Trott drives a jab into his opponents body.  
Trott steps away from his opponent and lands a stinging jab.  
Trott lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Rahaim's trainer is telling his fighter he needs to be more active or he's going to get outworked.  Rahaim's trainer is passing on some tactical advice.  Rahaim's trainer is advising how he could improve his defence.

Trott feints a cross, and then finds the target with a hard jab.  
Trott lands an overhand left followed by  two straights to his opponents head, AND DROPS RAHAIM!  He is on his feet as the count reaches 5.  Rahaim recovers before his opponent can take advantage. 
Trott feints a jab, fooling Rahaim into throwing a left hook counter.  Trott springs the trap and counters with  a sharp left hook.  
Trott tries to step out of his opponents range and lands a cross to the head followed by a jab to the body.  
Trott feints a right, and then lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Trott switches the action to the outside.  Trott feints a left hook, and then lands a cross to the body followed by a overhand left to the head.  THAT HURT HIS OPPONENT!  
Rahaim is looking to close the distance and manouvers his opponent onto the ropes.  Trott senses Rahaim is in trouble...he is looking to finish him off!  Trott lands a left hook followed by  two straights to his opponents head, AND RAHAIM IS KNOCKED DOWN!  He beats the count, getting up at 9.  Rahaim now seems to have got his legs back.  
Rahaim throws a left hook, but Trott clinches his opponent.  Trott leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Trott drives a right hook into Rahaim's body.  
Trott lands a cross to the body, and then to the head, AND STUNS HIS OPPONENT!  Rahaim almost instantly recovers. 
Rahaim advances into close range.  Trott pivots to the left of his opponent and is on target with a left hook.  
Trott tries to step out of his opponents range and lands an overhand left followed by a cross to his opponents head.  He continues the combination and lands a jab followed by a overhand left to his opponents head.  
Rahaim is looking to close the distance.  Trott lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs.  He follows up the attack and lands two right hook's to the body followed by a left uppercut to the head.  
Trott lowers his hands, trying to provoke his opponent to attack.  Rahaim attempts to land a cross, but Trott slips the shot and counters with a right uppercut to Rahaim's body.  
Rahaim forces Trott to back into the ropes.  Trott lands a cross followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Trott lands a jab followed by a overhand left to his opponents head.  He then lands a double jab to his opponents head.

Rahaim steps inside.  Trott is looking to force the stoppage!  Trott lands a double left hook to his opponents head, KNOCKING RAHAIM DOWN!  He makes it to one knee, but is unable to rise any further as the ref counts 10!  The winner by KO is Trott!
