Sorrel Beal vs Franchot Corneille

Boxing Daily Report from the Razak Promotions promoted show at Abidjan Garros, Abidjan,  taking place on 15/09/2041:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Ivory Coast Super Middleweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on RTI Sport TV, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Sorrel Beal (16(14) - 2(2)) who hails from Abidjan, Ivory Coast and Franchot Corneille(14 - 8(1)) from Abidjan, Ivory Coast.  Beal weighed in at 167 pounds and 14 ounces, while Corneille weighed in at 168 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Granger Beaucage, and the three ringside judges are Dashiell Noury, Granger Beaucage and Pierre de La Fontaine.  

Round 1: 

Beal closes the distance.  Beal lands a right hook followed by  two left hooks to his opponents body.  Beal clinches his opponent.  Beal is using his forearm in the clinch.  The referee breaks the clinch and warns Beal to stop fouling.  The two boxers are fighting in-close, but their heads clash!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Beal dabs at his face checking for damage.  Beal has taken some damage from that accidental headbutt.  That has caused minor swelling  around the left eye.

Beal advances into close range.  Beal drives a right hook into Corneille's body.  Beal ties up his opponent.  As they grapple, Beal pushes his forearm into Corneille's face.  The referee breaks the clinch and warns Beal to stop fouling.  As the two fighters work on the inside, their heads come together! It looks like Corneille has now recovered from that earlier bodyshot.
