Amer Haik vs Waqar Meskin

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Nigeria-Osun State promoted show at Ilesa Esin, Ilesa,  taking place on 16/09/2041:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Nigeria Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on AIT Sports, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Amer The Hellhound Haik (15(10) - 1 - 1) who hails from Zaria, Nigeria and Waqar Meskin(11(1) - 2(1) - 1) from Osogbo, Nigeria.  Both Haik and Meskin weighed in at 135 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Haider Zahra, and the three ringside judges are Kunle Gogwim, Shehu Ibeh and Brown Prest.  

Round 1: 

Haik is looking to close the distance.  Meskin throws a right hook, but Haik holds on to his opponent.  As they grapple, Haik pushes his forearm into Meskin's face.  The referee warns Haik and breaks the clinch.  
Haik is on target with a stinging left uppercut to his opponents liver.  Haik holds on to his opponent.  Haik leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Haik manouvers Meskin onto the ropes.  Haik lands a right uppercut to the body, a left uppercut to the head and a right hook to the body.  
Haik is on target with a right uppercut to Meskin's ribs.  
Haik gets on the inside and lands a right hook followed by  two left uppercuts to his opponents body.  THAT HURT HIS OPPONENT!  Meskin recovers before his opponent can take advantage. 
Haik digs in a stinging left uppercut to his opponents body.  
Haik connects with a firm right hook.  
Haik is on target with a stinging left hook to Meskin's ribs.  
Meskin lands with a spiteful jab.  
Haik steps inside and hits home with a firm right uppercut.

Meskin lands with a hard jab.  Meskin tries to land a cross, but Haik blocks the shot and counters with a sharp right uppercut.  
Haik closes the distance and lands a right uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  HE HAS HIS OPPONENT IN TROUBLE!  
Haik walks Meskin down, trapping him on the ropes.  Haik throws a left uppercut, but his opponent steps away from the shot.  Haik holds on to his opponent.  Meskin is using his forearm in the clinch.  The referee breaks the clinch and warns Meskin to stop fouling.  Meskin now seems to have recovered from the bodyshot.  
Haik lands a left uppercut to the body, a right hook to the head and a right hook to the body, AND HIS OPPONENT IS HURT!  Meskin almost instantly recovers. 
Meskin throws a left hook, but Haik clinches his opponent.  Haik leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Haik is on target with a stinging left hook.  
Meskin throws a right uppercut, but Haik clinches his opponent.  Meskin uses his free hand to throw a body hook, but it lands on Haik's kidney. Haik leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Meskin finds the target with a jab.  
Haik connects with a right hook.  
Haik lands a left hook to the head followed by a right hook to the body.  Haik ties up his opponent.  Meskin tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Haik behind the head. The ref breaks Haik's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Haik lands a jab.

Meskin sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Haik lands a right hook, right uppercut and a right hook to his opponents body.  
Meskin hits home with a right hook.  
Meskin digs in a left hook to Haik's ribs.  
Haik closes the distance.  Haik quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and digs in a solid right uppercut to Meskin's ribs.  
Haik lands a right uppercut followed by a cross to his opponents head, AND HIS OPPONENT IS HURT!  Meskin almost instantly gets his legs back. 
Meskin attempts to land a cross, but Haik slips the shot and counters with a right uppercut.  
Meskin steps to the outside and is on target with a jab.  
Haik advances into close range and walks Meskin onto the ropes.  Haik lands a left uppercut, left hook and a right hook to his opponents body, AND MESKIN IS KNOCKED DOWN!  He beats the count, getting up at 4.  
Haik is on target with a sharp cross.  
Haik advances into close range and lands a stinging right uppercut.  
Haik digs in a firm left hook to his opponents liver.  
Haik is looking to close the distance.  Meskin pivots from in front of his opponent.  Haik lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  He continues the combination and lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents body, AND STUNS HIS OPPONENT!  
Meskin steps away from his opponent.  Some sustained pressure from Haik could be enough to finish Meskin!  Haik lands a right uppercut to the body, and then to the head.  He continues the combination and lands two left uppercut's to the body followed by a cross to the head, AND DROPS MESKIN!  He beats the count, getting up at 5.  Meskin now seems to have recovered from the bodyshot.  
Haik is looking to close the distance and lands a right hook, left hook and a right uppercut to his opponents body, AND KNOCKS MESKIN DOWN!  The ref immediately waves off the fight...he's seen enough!  The fight has been stopped!  The winner by TKO is Haik!
