Davie Olando vs Laken Karoki

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Kenya-Mombasa promoted show at Razi Masinde Gym, Mombasa,  taking place on 05/11/2021:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the Kenya Light Heavyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on KTV, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Davie Olando (5 - 1 - 2) who hails from Mombasa, Kenya and Laken Karoki(7 - 0) from Nairobi, Kenya.  Olando weighed in at 175 pounds, while Karoki weighed in at 174 pounds and 14 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Tavon Wanga, and the three ringside judges are George Waciuma, Michael Bwakali and Fraser Magwanga.  

Round 1: 

Karoki advances into close range and lands a left hook to the head, a left hook to the body and a right hook to the body.
