Rex Hughes vs John Breckon

Boxing Daily Report from the Plunder Boxing promoted show at SECC Hall, Glasgow,  taking place on 23/09/2041:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Rex Hughes (9(5) - 0) who hails from London, UK and John Breckon(6 - 4 - 5) from Brighton and Hove, UK.  Hughes weighed in at 252 pounds and 7 ounces, while Breckon weighed in at 243 pounds and 11 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Joseph Menelaws, and the three ringside judges are John McVicker, Robert Priddy and Peter McWethy.

Breckon throws a left hook, but Hughes holds on to his opponent.  Hughes leans on his opponent using all his weight. Hughes tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Breckon behind the head. The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Hughes about fouling.  
Hughes advances into close range and throws a right hook, but his opponent steps away from the punch.  Hughes clinches his opponent.  Hughes is using his forearm in the clinch.  The referee breaks the clinch and warns Hughes to stop fouling.  
Hughes gets on the inside.  Hughes is on target with a right uppercut to Breckon's body.  Hughes attempts to land an uppercut to the solar plexus, but he strays low!  The ref ignores Breckon's complaints and signals for the action to continue.
