John Kendrick vs Gyn Russell

Boxing Daily Report from the AI UK-Wales promoted show at Desmond Gam Gym, Cardiff,  taking place on 17/09/2041:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the British-Wales Light Flyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are John Kendrick (12 - 11(3)) who hails from Cardiff, UK and Gyn Russell(8 - 18(5) - 4) from Swansea, UK.  Kendrick weighed in at 107 pounds And 13 ounces, while Russell weighed in at 107 pounds And 14 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Inigo Rury, and the three ringside judges are Griffith Batton, Dan Malone and Dale Carrick.

Kendrick connects with a cross.

Kendrick throws a cross, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a right hook.  
The two boxers are fighting in-close, but their heads clash!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Russell dabs at his face checking for damage.    It looks like the clash of heads has caused some damage to Russell.  That has caused minor swelling  around the left eye.  
Kendrick is on target with a left hook.  
Kendrick is looking to keep the action on the outside.  Russell hits home with a cross.  
As Kendrick tries to work on the inside, the fighters heads come together!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Russell dabs at his face checking for damage.  
Russell sidesteps to the right of his opponent and is on target with a right hook to his opponents body.  
Russell advances into close range and lands a right uppercut.
