Charles Carruth vs Elliot Kikafunda

Boxing Daily Report from the Smokin Joe promoted show at Sofi Stadium, Los Angeles,  taking place on 16/11/2041:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Charles Carruth (19(9) - 2 - 1) who hails from Savannah, USA and Elliot Kikafunda(23 - 20(5) - 2) from Kampala, Uganda.  Carruth weighed in at 139 pounds and 15 ounces, while Kikafunda weighed in at 140 pounds.

Kikafunda tries to land a cross, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a BRUTAL left hook.  KIKAFUNDA WAS STUNNED BY THAT SHOT!  Kikafunda almost instantly gets his legs back. 
Kikafunda is on target with a right hook.  
Kikafunda tries to keep the action at long range.  Carruth attempts to land an overhand left, but Kikafunda slips the shot and counters with a left hook.  
Carruth lands a left hook followed by a jab to his opponents head.  He follows up the attack and lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head.  
Carruth quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and drives a firm left hook into Kikafunda's body.  
As the two fighters work on the inside, their heads come together!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Kikafunda dabs at his face checking for damage.  
Carruth is looking to close the distance and walks his opponent down, trapping him in a neutral corner.  Carruth lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  He then lands a left uppercut to the body followed by a right hook to the head, DROPPING KIKAFUNDA TO THE CANVAS!  He remains on the canvas as the count reaches 10!  The winner by KO is Carruth!
