Olindo Medero vs Juan Enciso

Boxing Daily Report from the Kanja Promotions promoted show at Kalinaki Gym, Cartagena,  taking place on 18/09/2041:

Clearly Kanja Promotions have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Colombia-Bolivar Super Middleweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Olindo Medero (5 - 10 - 1) who hails from Cartagena, Colombia and Juan Enciso(1 - 0) from Cartagena, Colombia.  Both Medero and Enciso weighed in at 168 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Manuel Montez, and the three ringside judges are Reynaldo Suarez, Lisandro Morales and Eloy Celestino.  

Round 1: 

Medero is looking to keep the action on the outside and connects with an overhand right.  
Enciso throws a right hook, but his opponent parries the shot.  Enciso clinches his opponent.  As they grapple, Medero pushes his forearm into Enciso's face.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns Medero.  
Enciso lands a left hook to the head, a right uppercut to the body and a left hook to the head.

Medero quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and finds the target with a jab.  
Medero throws a right hook, but Enciso ties up his opponent.  Medero uses his free hand to throw a hook, but it hits Enciso behind the head. The ref breaks Enciso's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Enciso steps inside and is on target with a firm right hook.  
Enciso walks Medero onto the ropes.  Enciso lands a left uppercut followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Enciso sidesteps to the right of his opponent and digs in a left hook to Medero's body.  
Medero is looking to close the distance.  Enciso is on target with a sharp right hook.  
Enciso lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Enciso is on target with a stinging left hook.  
Enciso connects with a left hook.  Enciso holds on to his opponent.  Enciso tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Medero behind the head. The referee breaks the clinch and warns Enciso to stop fouling.  
Enciso gets on the inside and walks his opponent into a neutral corner.  Enciso hits home with a stinging left hook.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Medero's trainer is telling his fighter he needs to be more active or he's going to get outworked.  Medero's trainer is passing on some tactical advice.

Enciso is looking to keep the action on the outside.  Enciso feints a left, and then hits the target with a spiteful jab.
