Lu Gergen vs Bernon Kanitz

Boxing Daily Report from the Anfom Promotions promoted show at Nuremberg Hendriksen, Nuremberg,  taking place on 22/09/2041:

Clearly Anfom Promotions have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Germany-Bavaria Heavyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Lu Gergen (12 - 10(3) - 5) who hails from Munich, Germany and Bernon Kanitz(18 - 10(1) - 4) from Munich, Germany.  Gergen weighed in at 246 pounds And 9 ounces, while Kanitz weighed in at 241 pounds And 3 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Broderick Krick, and the three ringside judges are Archard Labus, Bem Gerhard and Manfried Kubach.  

Round 1: 

Gergen steps to the outside and connects with an overhand left.

Kanitz steps inside.  Kanitz lands a right hook.  The two boxers are fighting in-close, but their heads clash!  The ref acknowledges the accidental headclash but allows the action to continue.    That accidental headbutt has resulted in some damage to Kanitz.  That has caused slight swelling  around the left eye.  
Kanitz closes the distance and walks his opponent down, trapping him on the ropes.  Kanitz is on target with a left hook to Gergen's body.  
Kanitz advances into close range and is on target with a left uppercut.  
Gergen tries to step out of his opponents range.  Kanitz lands a cross.

The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Kanitz dabs at his face checking for damage.  Kanitz has been damaged by the clash of heads.  The foul has worsened the damage  around the left eye.
