Boxing Daily Report from the Simasiku Promotions promoted show at Simasiku Gym, Auckland,  taking place on 11/11/2021:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the Oceania Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Prime, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are John Waldie (9 - 1) who hails from Auckland, New Zealand and Kian Ewing(6 - 2 - 1) from Manukau, New Zealand.  Both Waldie and Ewing weighed in at 147 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Will Mellas, and the three ringside judges are Colin Lawder, Kenzie Anderson and Robert Haturini.  

Round 1:
